PRODUCER:

Barny Carter

Barny is a visionary. His professional background is in Film production. He has over ten years experience in the Melbourne and Sydney film industries working formally on commercial campaigns as an Art Director and more recently creating online footage as a Director and Producer. Barny is the backbone behind Snowworld and has a passion for the snow that is embedded within. Add his creative flare and good things happen. Barny just makes it work.

Morgan Evans

Morgan’s film career began at film school where he completed a degree at VCA in film direction. He has since charged forward in several aspects of the medium choosing to be both in front and behind the camera. Morgan now works as a credited stuntman and continues to direct energetic narratives. With a great eye for action and creativity, Morgan’s our secret weapon.

Josh Moore

With a background in the film industry stretching back to the Oscar winning film Shine, Josh has worked on nearly every kind of film set imaginable. His recent work has been in the field of documentary, producing and directing ‘Beyond the Backyard’ for ABC TV, (airing spring 2007). Josh is currently making a series of online micro documentaries for Telstra featuring The Australian Ballet.

Michael Robinson

Mickey's a story teller. A trained actor, director and producer, he has a strong identity within the Australian film and television industry. He has directed and produced numerous internationally awarded and highly acclaimed short films and music videos. He also works in both feature film and television. His narrative skill and understanding of the moving image sees him uniquely placed to create exciting and visually stunning stories for the screen, big and small.

Camera:

Mel Macpherson

Mel’s skills are broad to say the least — she is a camera operator, editor and filmmaker. Since completing her degree in Digital Media she has been consistently working in the industry winning awards at Snowyfest and Flake Film Festival and working with legendary surf film maker, Jack McCoy. Mel was the camera operator for Perisher Blue Ski report for several years filming live and pre-recorded snow reports for The Today Show, Sky News, The Weather Channel, Fox Sports, MTV and Fuel.

David Stringer

Dave’s spent several years living and working in resorts all over the world and has told his story through the lens of the camera. He has extensive work published in resort tourist brochures and has worked on many documentaries in the Alpine environment. Combining his experience in the film industry, television commercial production co-ordination in alpine environments and “stills” photography, Davo’s an all round package.
